Download the client

One download, no installer, no launcher account. The cache downloads itself on first run.

A single executable JAR. Nothing is installed on your machine.

The client will not launch without it.

First time?

  1. 1Install Java 17 or newer if you do not already have it.
  2. 2Download the client above.
  3. 3Double-click the JAR, or run it from a terminal with java -jar.
  4. 4Create a character on the login screen and you are in.

If double-clicking does nothing, run:

java -jar royalscape.jar

On macOS, Gatekeeper may block the first launch because the JAR is unsigned. Right-click the file and choose Open to allow it once.
